Updated Management Protocol for Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C)

Abstract The multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) is a post-viral immunological or hyper-inflammatory complication of severe acute respiratory coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection commonly seen older children, who present with fever, multi-systemic involvement including myocardial dysfunction and shock, hyper-inflammation. treatment MIS-C adapted from the other conditions these protocols are not uniform across globe, more so, India. We propose management protocol for based on our experience treating cases, available evidence till now, recent guidelines. aims to identify high sensitivity, recognize infections processes, stratify severity, manage syndrome.
